It can be carried along with your car or mounted in your garage with the included controller bracket and charger holder. Installation is straightforward, requiring only a 220-240V NEMA 14-50 outlet. The 25FT premium charger cable ensures ample reach for most driveway and garage charging needs.

Fast Charging Technology

The Sophtrans portable EV charger, equipped with a NEMA 14-50 plug, supports Level 2 charging for all electric vehicles that meet SAE J1772 connector standards. It offers adjustable power from 10 to 40A, with a maximum output of 40Amp/240V, 9.6KW. Charging speeds are up to 7 times faster (27-35 miles per hour) than Level 1 chargers. Actual working current will vary based on your vehicle's setting.

Safety & Durability

The Sophtrans EV charging station boasts a weatherproof NEMA 4 protection (IP66) and operates within a temperature range of -13℉ to 122℉, making it suitable for outdoor use. It includes over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, lightning, and leakage protection. The UL Certified 8AWG cable is thicker than most chargers, ensuring better current support with less heat generation.

Super Compatibility & Built-In Wi-Fi

This EV charger is compatible with all SAE J1772 EVs/PHEVs, such as Audi e-tron, BMW i3, Chevrolet Bolt, Ford Mustang, Hyundai, Nissan LEAF, Porsche Taycan, and Kia Niro (note that Tesla requires a SAE J1772 adapter). It features built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing easy control and monitoring via the device itself. However, note that the phone cannot access the internet through this built-in Wi-Fi.

Important Notes Before Purchase

1. When using a 110V outlet, please use a specifically designed EV charger adapter; ordinary adapters may not work due to compatibility issues.
2. The product only includes a basic web-page version, not an installable app. The built-in Wi-Fi cannot access your home router or the internet.
